piñata
yo, so i'm going to get a piñata to celebrate the return of a miss katie saunders to suburbia. it is coming straight from east austin (some say east austin is to piñatas as switzerland is to chocolate or houston is to fat people...in that it produces the best quality). but i digress. here's why i'm on this old blog of ours: i would like to survey the group to see what we should put in this fine pinata.
i was going to post a few choices, but it's probably best to let you guys have a free-for-all. i like it better that way. and really, we'll get better answers (trust, i have it).
happy piñata filling!
p.s. i totally went back to edit this post after finally finding an eñe!!!
this photo comes from my personal collection of juan-in-a-million outings.
New Look
Hey Yall,
Looks like I'm one of the few people who still actually posts to this blog, but for those of you who do care, I changed the look of the blog. I'm not sure if everyone likes it, so I'll put up a poll here to see if you like it or not. If you don't, I'll change it back to something simpler or the old look. I have noticed it's a little slower, so see for yourselves and let me know. If you see another blog which looks cooler and want this to look like that, let me know and I'll try to make something similar.
Also, if you want to make any changes to the site, let me know first, because with this custom template, you could potentially break the site. Aside, I'm not an expert web designer (even with my years of sweet programming skills), so if you are capable of making it better, go ahead.
On the topic of technology, here's a funny tech related web comic:
darts
I am too good at darts. This is my bullseye followed by a second dart getting lodged in the middle of the first one. I am the king.

ewwwww
In real-life news, I am giving a 12 minute presentation on the back and arms tomorrow. I can name every muscle in the arm and back and most arteries, nerves, and veins. I have cut open a carpal tunnel! Life is just so exciting. We start head and neck next week, which is gonna be hella gross and disturbing.
Happy New Year/Other Stuff
Hey Guys,
Since I didn't get a chance to see most of you all for New Years, Happy New Year! I did get a chance to see or at least talk to most everyone at some point, so I'm not too sad about missing out on the extravaganza that you all had.
I hope everyone kicked off the year in a good way (for some in a painfully good way). I rang in the new year with my family in the woods, which is why I wasn't able to make it out to Austin for the celebrations.
To the post below, yes Jessica, I am amazing, and that video is awesome. You are an admin on this blog now, so you can be just as awesome if you want to be. Speaking of the blog, if you all have any suggestions for polls, trivia, or whatever to keep it interesting, just let me know and I'll put it up. I know people still check the blog (as witnessed from our conversation during Thanksgiving), so start posting people! No boring crap, just the funny, weird, fun stuff that happens to you every once in a while.
Speaking of funny stories, I can't think of any right now, but I'll put them up as I remember them. Here's an interesting article instead for those of you who made memories you didn't want to remember during new years: 'Tetris' can wipe out your traumas.
CYLA (10 points to the 1st person who figures out what that means),
Kazakh
holy crap
How the fuck did you do that? The problem is that I don't have that link that says "customize blog," or I'm pretty sure I would've figured it out. Also, I don't know how to find that link. Also, I don't know how to construct a video response. WOAH
